Measure of marketing success

A measure of success

For me, success is exceeding a desired result. Achieving the exceptional regardless of the scale: such as persuading Her Majesty The Queen to attend a concert put on by a virtually unknown charity; grabbing a larger market share for an FMCG product; or launching a whole country into tourism. My achievements have been recognised in so many ways: awards, statistics, the bottom line or, just once in a while, astonishment!

Here are three of my successes, chosen to demonstrate marketing versatility. All three won awards for different reasons and in different decades of my working life.
