When a friend asked Paul Broadbent to help
him launch a new hotel directory, accepting the challenge was a pleasure.
With a strong marketing background across many product sectors, a
design sense and the ability to write, Paul created the concept, title
and all, in a weekend.
That was in May 1992. By the following January the directory was published.

Each hotel page was carefully
constructed to make it easy for the user, be he travel professional
or hotel guest, to find what they wanted quickly. The book also had
many features that helped navigation through its 400 pages.
The travel industry in North America were unanimous in their praise,
for its style, content, ease of use and practical value.
In 1997, Paul helped to produce and write a version exclusively featuring
Italian hotels. Click here
In 2001, Paul transferred the entire production to his friend, the
publisher, so that it could be produced in-house.
