Apter Fredericks is a long established family firm of
specialists in 18th century English furniture. This was the most prodigious
era of furniture-making in this country. Chippendale, Hepplewhite,
Linnell, Nash and Sheraton carved their names into the history books.
Paul Broadbent was approached to design a brochure that was much more
than just a catalogue; it had to bring Apter Fredericks to a wider
clientele around the world. The concept echoed the rich patinas of
the fashionable woods of the time and put them in the context of famous
contemporaneous events.

Paul was responsible for the
text and the research into the Queen Anne and Hanoverian periods.
The brochure was much admired by competitive antiquarians and buyers
from all over the world. |
